The Zevon Chronicles #2 - Bad Luck Streak In Dancing School (1980)

Показать описание
On this episode of the Zevon Chronicles, I discuss Warren's 1980 release, "Bad Luck Streak In Dancing School." This was a quite tumultuous time in Zevon's personal life as he was in and out of rehab and his marriage came to an end all while he was trying to record an album to follow "Exitable Boy"
One of the things I enjoy about doing this series is that although I'm already a huge fan of Warren Zevon, I learn many things in the process of putting these together. Zevon co-produced this album with Greg Ladanyi. Due to a mild attack of dyslexia, I mispronounced his name in this video, but Ladanyi was a successful producer, working with Jackson Browne, Don Henley and more in addition to Zevon. Ladanyi won a Grammy in 1983 for "Best Engineered Recording - Non-Classical" for his work on Toto IV, by Toto.
