Look, guys. The Flood story can't even agree with itself on how many of each kind of animal went on the Ark. Modern believers can't agree on how many kinds of animals there were, or even what the word "kind" meant.
The Bible elsewhere gives long lists of numbers and names, but the Flood story doesn't even give the names of the four women. Three of those women were the mothers of us all, and they aren't even described.
Elsewhere in the Bible, Moses parts the waters of the Red Sea. Noah could have parted the waters of the Flood, and kept the animals safe on his farm, without all that mucking about in a boat.
God could have struck down the wicked in a myriad of ways, but instead only instructs Noah, gathers animals, closes a door, and makes it rain. And drowns a whole lot of babies and children and animals.

The Flood story seems like a legend shoehorned into the Bible. It scarcely fits, and isn't referred to again, hardly. It certainly isn't the center of the Christian faith.
But modern believers have made up Flood Geology, which contradicts the Bible itself; and which conflicts with all of modern science.
