Great review brother! I really like these smaller 64mm EDF jets, I think they are just right for those on a budget, and look super good for their size. PLUS, these fans are starting to sound very good and the power seems super good for what it is! No need for retracts on these; they are kinda too small to effectively engineer the retracts anyway, and it would only add weight. Not to mention the cost increase. Then folks would say "gee, for what I'm paying, it should be a larger model", and then you're on an ever spiraling cycle of diminishing returns. Thanks for showing us this one, what a nice little ship!

I installed the cyclone power led afterburner in mine and now it has lost some power. Not sure what to do about it. Maybe convert it to a 6s?

With the cost of the 70 and 80 MM I have been purchasing more 64 MM 4s planes. A lot less cost and just as fun and more forgiving to fly. I might have to pick this one up though I will yank the gyro. I have only purchased 2 planes so far in 2023 so a good candidate for #3. lol

Question I purchased the Beechcraft d18. I would like to weather the silver such as wings and fuselage. Do you know how to do that and color? And I would like to do chipping such as in the silver if it even happens on a silver plane. Thanks.

I use the spektrum 3200 50c in mine and flies great. It wedges in there flat too. 4 min timer with 35-40% left.

Hey Chris do you think this 64mm Rafale could benefit from reduced appature thrust nozzles like you did on the 80mm one? The outlets seem gigantic to me and especially when compared to my 64mm Eflite f-15 Eagle Jet?

If you can fly 3.5 minutes on 4s 2200, then what is the point of flying 4 minutes with 4s 3200? Less docile for sure. Maybe good for windy condition.
