For those wondering why it sounds so broken, it’s because this was never released as an isolated track. He used software to isolate just the vocals from the original track but subtracting the instrumental. Small imperfections cause this to be very ugly, so this is very glitchy. This is one of the worse versions of this process, but it’s still interesting to hear the emphasis on his timbre.

So yeah, PhonicMind does a pretty great job on extracting tracks/stems (vocals, instrumentals) but sometimes it gets difficulty on extracting them from "heavier" songs, not really sure why, although it can work on any genre. I tried extracting some softer songs and heavier songs with it, I'd say the softer songs are easier for the tool to extract almost all of the vocals and instrumentals.
Anyways, it's still new so hopefully it'll improve over time.
