This song reminds me of when my dad was yelling at me after he had gotten home from work. My mom and dad started arguing so I went up to my room and closed the door. After a few minutes of sitting behind the door (my room doesn't have any locks), I heard heavy footsteps coming towards me. My dad kicked the door open, squishing me between the door and the wall. He proceeded to drag me downstairs, almost breaking my wrist in the process. I was tied to a chair in our spare room, yelled at, beat, and then left alone. I eventually was untied when my mom found me, but my dad continued to have outbursts like this when he came home. When he wasn't hurting my family and me, he was gone for days at a time before coming back home.
