The shear bolts did exactly what they were supposed to do. Next time, lower the 3pt arms slower, and raise it up at least once every foot to clear the auger

That’s why you auger a bit, lift it out, auger a bit more, lift it out. AND USE REVERSE OMCE YOU HIT

You never dig a hole all the way to the bottom you always lift that thing up two or three times to clear the way

Inexperienced operators, you don’t let it screw itself into the ground like a corkscrew 😂 you only go about a foot at a time if that deep, and then it will clean itself

If that was oliver, u would replace sheer bolt, hook pto to engine speed pto, it run opposite direction.

And this is why you know where the spare shear bolts are kept... Buy them by the box if you have very many posts to set along the tree line...

It's not turning fast enough and you can't just bury a bit into the dirt you have to pull it up and remove some of the dirt well it's moving that slow

Well, for those that have never run a Danuser/Post hole auger…no more than 6” of cutting, then lift, repeat…
Most tractors do not have reversing PTO’s….it’s extremely rare..an over running clutch isn’t helpful here…
The shear bolts are in place for a reason…
And most of all know where your boring…have a big digging bar for big stones…
