John, ROTW is a favorite of mine as well. There are some under the radar gems like "Feed Me" and "Bullet." Medley is a great opener and I enjoyed this album and still do. Great interview with Caleb!!!

Caleb, keep rockin'! You are an inspiration. God has blessed me with being a non-professional, experienced guitar player. I know I've blessed others with my musical gift so don't 'fret' or doubt at all. I know you've blessed and inspired MILLIONS. Thank you for your time and thank you, John, for an awsum interview.

I liked Rock Of The Westies a lot... jeez, Billy Bones would have been such a great staple in the live set, would have love to have heard that live.

Caleb Quaye. Haven't heard that name in years. I still have my Hookfoot albums. They did a great cover of Neil Young's "Don't let it bring you down".

Best album he had. Street Kids was his very best song.

I love Caleb, but I think theirs's a little animosity there that he and Roger were tossed to the side in the early years and Nigel and Dee were the chosen one's to take Elton to the top, and that they did. I have to say, when I listen to Elton's live album when they were only a 3 piece band, the music sounded more powerful and tight then Elton sounded with his 7 piece band in the mid-seventies. That speaks volumes on the playing abilities from Nigel and Dee.

I disagree with Caleb here. Roger was a great drummer and Kenny could not hold a candle to Dee. But there is reason why these guys only played on two albums. They just didn’t have the feel and the soul that Elton’s original band had, sorry. Watch the live stuff.
