⭐️ This is a real time easy Procreate drawing tutorial of this summer in a pill illustration. I will teach you how to draw this illustration on your iPad with Procreate step by step, and explain certain techniques throughout the video!

⭐️ Don't worry about brushes, I will mostly be using standard brushes that already come with your Procreate app, except for my textured brush (purchase link below). But as I say in the video, you do NOT have to use this exact one, and can choose any soft textured brush you like

I get stuck every time where she makes the outline of the pill By duplicating layers, selecting one then selecting below and using 3 fingers. My pill under always just deletes totally and doesn’t leave an outline - any advice ?

I have tried a few times your trick with selecting one layer then doing the three fingers tap on the layer below to delete the inside of the shape but it doesn’t work. All it does is deleting the whole shape... :-(
In fact, even the “select” option in the layer does not do what you say in your video. Do you have any idea why?
I could not find anything regarding that option of subtracting a shape from another on 2 different layers.
Would be very interested to know more about this. Thanks!

I keep reaching the point where I try to add the water. As soon as I try to fill the bottom with the darker blue (5:20) it fills my whole pill! I've been trying for ages now and have ensured that my lines are closed. Wahhhh why is this happening?
