AFTERBUZZ TV -- Power edition, is a weekly "after show" for fans of Starz's Power. In this show, hosts Jimmy V, Bamm Ericsen, Janeisha John, and Robin Ayers with special guest Monica Mitchell discuss episode 10.

ABOUT POWER:
The series follows James St. Patrick, nicknamed "Ghost", owner of a popular New York City nightclub. In addition, he is a major player in one of the city's biggest illegal drug networks. He struggles to balance these two lives, and the balance topples when he realizes he wants to leave the drug ring in order to support his legitimate business. It appears James "Ghost" St. Patrick has it all -- a drop-dead gorgeous wife, a stunning Manhattan penthouse, and the power and success that come with owning hot new nightclub Truth. But a closer look reveals a man living a double life. When Ghost isn't tending to his Fortune 500 business, he's catering to clients of another operation: a drug empire that serves only the rich and influential. While loyal sidekick Tommy protects the cash-cow narcotics venture at all costs, Ghost's new reality is using Truth as more than a front to launder money. It's a way out of the drug game and into a legitimate life with his family, even if everything he loves becomes unknowingly threatened. "Power" is co-executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson (who also co-stars) and show creator Courtney Kemp ("The Good Wife").

I love that Tasha immediately knew ish was going down when she saw that Ghost had left his phone at home! Love this show

The only actor that really should be considered for an Emmy nomination is Joseph Sikora who plays Tommy.

Holly told Angela James was Ghost in Season 2. She definitely knows.

At the beginning of the season, they tagged and bagged Tasha's gun. There were 3 shots at the end of the episode and Tommy only picked up 2 bullets and didn't get the one in the wall that Angela noticed. The ballistic tests will match Tasha's gun since it's already in the system. Ghost can't take the fall since he will get the death penalty and Tasha will do what she has to to protect her kids at the expense of herself.

This is the best review show you guys have ever done. I learned a lot more about the characters and some of the main plot points. Monica was an excellent guest. This recap episode was the quickest hour and forty minutes ever.

Tariq wasn't going to say anything at the police station because that would mean he would have to admit he was the cause of his sister's death.

Great season finale with a great recap. This was another solid season for power. The last season with those three in the car was incredible. Can't wait for season 5.

Only the Latina's get to be bosses. With the exception of Angie's boss (who JUST showed up), no Black woman on the show has EVER been a boss. Tasha showed some promise last season, but that went straight to hell in season 4. The Black women are merely accessories to the men in their lives: Tasha, Keisha, Shawn's mother, Tasha's mother, a random stripper here and there.... But the Latinas, Angie, the Jiminez boss, Pink Shoes, THEY are calling shots left and right. Even if it doesn't last long, they still get the chance to be in charge.

You guys are a great team. You break down episodes in detail very well and I enjoy watching this show to get your perspectives on scenes. Sucks that we gotta wait 10 months to see y'all again. I was hoping in an hour n forty minutes we would get some predictions from y'all but we didn't.

So the bullet will be traced back to being the gun Tasha owns. My question is going to be who will the Feds come after ghost or Tasha? I also think they will find the gun that ray ray used to kill rayna with. I do not feel like he was wearing a wire at all I think that was just a lie to scare Dre. He was too involved criminally to implicate himself in wire taps. Another question I have is what's going to be the relationship with Dre and ghost now because Dre needs to move product at clubs and Dre clearly knows Tommy is after him and told ghost about it. I also notice that Diego Jimenez is very intimidating towards Dre almost like he can't wait to kill him for doing something wrong.

I just have a feeling it's going to be an all out war next season involving tommys new family against Jimenez cartel. My death predictions for season 5 are

I still think Dre is going to kill Tommy and Kanan will be the one to kill Dre. I honestly don't see Kanan ever getting killed off anymore. I can talk and predict for hours so I'll just cut it off here and say that in the end, Tariq is going to run it all and I predicted this last year.

I was expecting more emotion from the parents. There daughter died. No tears, or moment of breakdown -just vengeance. Odd

I know they never asked me but my favorite scene out of the entire season was Tasha and Tariq after he shot Ray Ray.
My favorite death was the annoying guard that hated James.
My least favorite reveal was also terresi.
And my favorite storyline was Tariq this whole season.

If Tommy or Ghost dies it's gotta be in the last season they will loose ratings if they kill one of them and try to have another season after that

I was upset with Angie for pointing out the bullet but at the same time i think she told the guy to run it and give her the reports. Its tashas gun so If Tasha takes the rap she can easily point out that Angela gave her the place to go and did it off the record. So she's gonna be stuck covering for them as usual again anyway. Think it was smart on Tasha's part.
