A quick update from me this week - I'm adjusting my release schedule (mainly so I don't burn out lol 🔥)

The headlines: One Thing Near is going from every Monday to 'whenever it's ready'. Some weeks you'll get a One Thing Near, some weeks you won't - but if not, I'll just do an extra station review to fill the gap. Or something completely different! So all being well you'll still get two videos a week as standard.

Why's this happening? No single reason, but a lot of it is just how long it takes to set up a One Thing Near. There's a lot of admin finding places, getting them to agree to me filming and locking in a date.

That doesn't fall neatly onto a weekly cadence, and what I don't want to do is to run around trying to find something the day before, just to fill a gap. And as I've got a full time job, I'm usually doing that admin work outside of working hours, so I don't get many replies super fast.

I'd rather bring you really interesting stories when I can, and if nothing's lined up for the week I can work on new and different ideas instead! There's lots of stuff I want to do but no time to do it 🫠
