Differential Reinforcement

Differential reinforcement is used in ABA therapy to decrease the occurrence of a challenging behavior by reinforcing appropriate alternative behaviors that serve the same function as the challenging behavior. and not providing reinforcement when they engage in an unwanted behavior.
