Having the 'sex talk' with your child can be uncomfortable when you aren't sure what you want to convey to your child. Establishing your family's values around sexuality and sexual health can help to make the conversation a little smoother in regards to how you answer a sex question. This video is a brief intro in how to help you and your partner discuss your personal opinions on a variety of sex-related topics and how you both can convey the same message to your child.
I'm Kathleen, currently a stay at home mom of 2 and previously a sex educator, lecturer, and public health professional. I educated youth, adolescents, and young adults on sexual health & reproduction and I taught undergraduate students Human Sexuality and Gerontology with a focus on sexuality in aging. I want to share my expertise with fellow parents on how they can become their child's primary sexual health educator. Join me each week as I bring you a video on how to positively communicate about sex and sexuality with your child.
