Excellent choice from me like a year ago to replace my old R9 280. I would have otherwise held that too but sadly it's time came to an end after 5-6 years of gaming.

Waiting for upcoming gpus from Nvidia's RTX 4000 series and AMD's RX7000 😏

Can't wait to look at some sales for a new 3060 to replace my 4-year-old RX 580. Paid $120 for second hand card and it has been through quite a lot with me. Moving on from the RX 580 and a 60 Hz monitor to the 3060 and a 144 Hz monitor. Going to look and play so much better.

I have bought rx 580 very cheep, years and years ago, still can play any game with more than 100 fps, I just put medium, no need to play ultra, differences are low.

This just shows what a beast the RX580 is, I for one wouldn't notice any difference between the two if i were playing them in this test. I think I'll keep my 8GB version a while longer

Just saved me a few hundred pound after nearly buying an rtx 3060 as an upgrade for my 8gb rx580.
its watercooled too, so i could probably match the majority of that diffenrece by overclocking it a bit more.

Both amd and nvidia are good but nvidia looks more clean and have more settings. Even my gtx 1050 ti ran games smoother than my rx 580.

the rx 580 will be a beast for people who never felt 60+ fps, but when u get used to those high numbers bc it's so nice... the time has come.

Hey can I ask a question? Do do gpu's ever overheat with the settings? Cause with my 7 year old rx 580 12gb, it kept crashing at 40 fps on palworld. Idk if it was a faulty gpu or if it was not ready for today's games

the rx 580 is such a crazy card. i had to upgrade to the 3060 for the vram and ray tracing (i had the 4gb rx 580x). it's almost 10 years old. what a beast.

I had bought a second-hand pre-built pc with a RX580 4GB and a Ryzen 2600, upgraded it to a RTX 3060 12GB and a Ryzen 5600x. Best decision ever made!

Rx 580 is kinda great today if you play new games with low settings 1080p
