North Carolina Humanities presents a night of poetry and conversation in celebration of National Poetry Month.
This event featured North Carolina Poet Laureate Jaki Shelton Green, Carrboro Poet Laureate Fred Joiner, and Chapel Hill Poet Laureate CJ Suitt in a poetry showcase and moderated conversation about the themes of place, identity, and community in their work. The conversation was moderated by North Carolina Humanities Board Trustee and Appalachian State University Professor Todd Wright. The event was previously recorded live on April 29, 2021.
