The Last Cologne Was Incredible

My friends… he’s finally done it. NiKo won Cologne. Sure, it wasn’t a Major but I’d argue it’s literally the next best thing.

Niko got to be the one to sing CSGO’s final swan song, winning one of the most prestigious trophies in esports before we take the first step into the new era of Counter-Strike.

There's only one question left… are we ACTUALLY done with CSGO now?

I was so happy that I was able to watch Astralis vs Heroic and c9 vs Vitality. C9 although they lost both maps played incredibly well. It was pure hype in there. Astralis vs Heroic was soo good. Seeing dev1ce live on stage and seeing the masterclass the whole team gave was just crazy awesome.

ENCE did pretty well, they really are showing that they are a top 10-5 team. and most bo5's i have watched seems to always end up 3-0 so atleast they put up a fight with winning a map.

CSGO will be around for some time even after cs2 releases. Once they release cs2 for larger audience there'll be more bugs/improvements needed so events already planned will surely be in csgo is what I feel

Swani with insane tactics, hooxi with insane calls and plays ( top fragging faze, and vitality in vertigo), hunter as usual helped a lot with fragging, JKS was the best anchor, basically a whole team effort and all the roaster played good which got them the trophy, not just two players efforts

cs2 is coming only as beta this summer so its safe to assume the first event on cs2 will be at the end of fall or even next year
