In today's video I show off this great Asset Pack by William Faucher, a great Unreal Engine content creator. His asset pack is a easy way to add Fog cards to your scenes for that added atmosphere and depth! I show you how I utilize the asset pack in my project and a easy and inexpensive way to add more textures!

I did the same thing, bought it on ArtStation, then again on Marketplace and don't mind at all. It's a great asset! Also, love the idea for the addition! Wull have to check that out! Thanks!

Great overview for Williams pack!
I bought it right away on Art Station for half price but didnt hear about the Pathtracing update so thank you for that information!
I was initially a bit dissapointed when I tried it with pathtracing as I hoped to use in a few rendered projects but still used the fog with some VP sets I am working on.

Great little gem! I also bought it twice :D
I did made a few modifications: first of all, the mesh used was only one-sided, which is fine for fog in the distance but not for something you can go through in a game.
The other two were about the default textures, which are the T_mountainFog_01_mask and its Normal.
The mask had Alpha channel turned on that it just took space. It also has some random Mip Gen Settings, which I put to FromTextureGroup.
The Normal map had a random resolution that didn't allow for Mipmap, so I had to export it, scale it up to 2048, and imported again.
Overall the package is amazing and I used it also for creating a waterfall mist and a smoky area, so it's really versatile!

Thanks man, I did not know it had been updated! Just used the old version I downloaded 10 months ago, on my latest video "100k" if you want to see that, would love your thoughts on it mate.

Thanks, great tip with these 130 new clouds. Do you think the absence of the normal maps in these 130 clouds (Faucher's clouds come with normal maps) doesn't diminish the usefulness of these 130 clouds?
