The biggest miss was no OLED on launch, just to inevitably sell an upgrade in a few years that includes it

I'll give my perfectly fine running switch from 2017 another 2 years minimum and wait for potential bugs being ironed out. Switch OLED came four years later, so maybe wait a tad longer and go from there on with every incremental release.

Y'all talk about phones that cost over double that and celebrate when they get 5 years of support.
This is $450 and will get over 8 years of support.
Now, that $80 game...

They produced a switch 1 oled, to me setting the standard they would be going forward. And then they didnt, but doubled the price for the switch 2 with no oled

Guys, Nintendo finally invented the video chat, in 2025.

The c button doesn’t do anything unless you pay for subscription and it opens a screen to make you pay every time, you seriously should have added that part

I hope Nintendo makes a camera with a usb port so people with the switch 1 and OLED can also use a camera to show yourself to you friends with game chat and make game chat an app

i like how the c button (a part of the console) is locked behind a subscription

Hopefully backup loading is supported as early as it was with the original switch. Prices are a joke, especially considering that the release titles are half games that have been out for over five years.

Gonna let it release and see how the battery performance is, any bugs etc, and see what other games are coming out in the year following. Honestly Mario Kart and DK aren't a major priority for me. And as much as Metroid Prime 4 looks awesome on NS2, I have a perfectly well maintained OLED Switch to play it on for now.

That's another thing, I need to wait and see how the "download" extras for game carts go. Like, I was excited for the expanded internal memory but if alot of it is taken up by extra download data from game carts, that internal storage is gonna run out quick, especially if they're gonna fit games like Elfen Ring and Cyberpunk on there.

Huge miss on the controllers. Anyone who played a lot of Switch knows the stick drift is inevitable. Only reason they didn't update that is they want them to fail and get sales on replacement ones.

I'm genuinely thinking Nintendo fan being scam, switch 2 no oled or amoled display, running 4k 60 fps on LCD when a phone already can do 4k 120 fps on oled or amoled but charge for 450, and game for 80 - 90? And backward compatibility my azz still need to pay extra 10 - 20 to play that the game had bought?

Bruh just invest a steam deck

Pre-Ordered already. Most excited I have been for a Nintendo console since the Gamecube.

I wonder how hard it would have been to add a bit of power to the dock making it mirror your screen wirelessly similar to the Wii u

I wonder if VRR is just harder to implement without flickering on an OLED screen.

Super bummed about the “licensing” over the games and actual console.
We no longer own anything
