I was a nurse 20 years ago; my hospital had a dedicated wound care nurse that used many of the products shown. I assisted turning, and placement many times with her. These are decades long proven wound care products. Thank you TUP for your accurate information.

Some of the best, practical edc videos on the Tube. Learned a lot over the years. Keep'em coming!

Tagaderm is good stuff. Use it all the time, work at hospital

I suggest keeping a few 2x2 or 4x4 gauze pads for wiping away blood before putting on the steri-strips for instance.

Thanks for the demo on your "wounds". Nice to see the items out of their wrappers and used, especially in conjunction with each other.

May I suggest "triple antibiotic ointment with pain reliever".

You can buy individual use packets & keep a few in the FAK.

They are invaluable when you're injured.
It's like straight up magic when the pain from your scrape or splinter goes away.

I'm telling you guys get them & get the regular tube of it for around the house issues.

It must have the pain reliever component.

I love the use of the high quality materials. I keep a nose clamp in my kit. If you’ve ever had a gushing nose bleed, they are a game changer as they allow you to clean up the area, and yourself while keeping your hands free.

I would suggest adding a povidone iodine prep pad or similar (like the ones with BZK) for proper wound cleaning before closing it with the steri strips. The last thing you want is to seal bacteria inside a wound.

The Honey is something I keep in my first aid kits. It can be used for

Hypoglycemia
Coughing
Anti microbial

What I wouldn’t recommend using it for is burns.

Instead get tiny packets of burn shield or waterjel burn dressing. Couple that with a tefla non stick dressing.

I would add tweezers and nail clippers. This would be a great kit for a work bag.

This is super helpful, especially the use of thinner hospital grade items...not bulky off the drugstore shelf. Thank you. I am redoing my supplies NOW.

Nice kit TUP. What’s your thoughts on keeping a couple benadryl in your EDC kit for “buying some time” if someone has anaphylactic shock?
