I love how we're holding a civilian legislature to a higher standard than a trained police officer. She was fearing for her life and didn't know if this person was there to hurt her. Isn't that the excuse police officers give when they shoot unarmed black men?
The person was a police officer. They are trained to handle stressful situations. They are trained to identify themselves when they enter a room. They are trained to descelate the situation. Saying "this women hiding in her bathroom from people who came to personally kill her should really not be so critical of police who didn't follow protocol, " is insane.
