I love the pocket ornament. I am a preschool teacher and I make brown freezer wrap ornaments with the kids each year. We don't sew, the teachers put the wax sides together and iron the border, stuff with various things, dryer lint at then we finish sealing the small area on the seam we left open to stuff. The children then can decorate the shapes as they wish. This project has been a huge success. I never thought of putting a small gift inside!!!

That is sooo funny Amazon creating recyclable packaging, especially after watching the documentary "The shopping conspiracy" where Amazon throws out so much of their merchandise to landfill that does not sell.

My absolute favorite was the red wrapped with the slanted pocket with the dried floral and pine tucked in it. Unique and beautiful!! Merry Christmas Drew! 🎄

I started buying packing paper as my main paper a few years back. To decorate I got a couple of metallic stamp pads and different themed holiday stamps. It has saved me a TON on wrapping paper and it feels a little more personal.

I love Amazon! And I love you recycling the Amazon packages. I actually use my Amazon boxes in my yard. I flatten the boxes and then put mulch over them. No weeds! Perfect!

Love love love the upcycled Amazon packaging!! I just put some in the recycle bin - going now to fish it back out so I can reuse it - brilliant!! It will be especially perfect for our "Early Preedy Christmas Dollar Gift Exchange" this weekend - my husband's family has a 40+ year tradition of exchanging gifts that can only cost a dollar (hasn't even been adjusted for inflation lol) so we have to get pretty creative. Usually the wrapping isn't included in the dollar but I love the idea of doing an upcycled wrapping for my Dollar Gift!

Amazon should print their packaging paper with pattern. Kind of like the flour sacks that were used to make dresses.

I've been saving my brown paper for paper mache but I can't wait to turn it into gift wrap! It's the perfect thickness too. The store bought kraft paper is usually too thick for the tape to hold securely. Yay!
