Double Tap doesn’t work when Spotify is open, just an FYI. Maybe an app update will fix it

Thanx for the comparison. I think we need a second gesture to really have some choices while interacting with the watch. But anyway it's the right direction.

Andrew, I’m a teaching golf instructor and is there any way to make a hand gesture interactive with my iPhone so I’m able to start and stop a video recording for a golf lesson ?
Looking forward to seeing your reply,

On my s9 Apple Watch do I need to enable assistive touch?

The S8 is good enough for this gesture imo… I use it for opening my notification menu. Super handy

Hopefully you will see this question and offer your assistance.
I just upgraded from an Ultra 1 to Ultra 2
On the Ultra 1, I used the accessibility gestures (Assistive Touch) and it worked great at dismissing notifications. A double tap would dismiss every notification that appeared on my watch.
On the Ultra 2, it seems that the standard double-tap does not do this. Am I correct that if I want to use double-tap to dismiss an email or message notification, I have to use Assistive Touch instead of double-tap?
If that is the case, I am amazed Apple hasn't fixed this issue. Double tapping to dismiss an read notification should be standard.

The strangest thing for me about Double Tap is that it feels like it has ALWAYS existed. It feels so natural. Do wish they could add a second gesture so that you can select; after you advance.
