This was pretty aggravating actually. Every grocery store should be doing this to keep people from ditching carts EVERYWHERE . We've all seen it . Carts moving by themselves towards parked cars etc . Nt being able to pull in a good spot because some lame brain chose to leave their cart there. Aldi has a great solution to this problem with this incentive . I look forward to scouting out someone to offer my cart to so they don't hv to use their change fr a cart . Showing this hack is just lame 😒

I always just give my cart with the quarter in it to the next person when I'm done shopping. Now maybe I can get my quarter back & still give someone my cart!

Nothing like teaching a hack that circumvents doing the right thing. I carry quarters in my wallet and my vehicle cup holder.

That's why the buggies will NOT go back like they were intended to do...people JAM them up and it damages the chain and lock...gets old when you try to return your cart and the chain will not work...js...🤦

This is only useful if you're the kind of person who can't be bothered to return your cart. Edit: Or, I suppose, if you find some unreturned cart already sitting in some convenient place.
