The ending is obviously a necessity in fixing cords, I can see why they included it. Lol

ok i have my shrink tubing and I am having a heck of a time getting it over the neutral half (the ridged side) of the cord. the exact same size of tubing slipped on the hot wire very easily. but the neutral side, i get maybe 1/2, to 2/3 of the way down and then it just does not want to continue. Any tips?

Can you use electrical tape instead of a shrink tube?
