It cost a lot for colleges to retain liberal professors to teach socialism

Why is nobody talking about increased tuition and capping state schools? Start at the root of the issue. Forgiving student loans is a bandaid.

Student debt isn't about irresponsible young people taking out more loans than they'll be able to pay back. It's about a corruption cycle between loan companies, lobbyists, and our lawmakers, designed to make them rich and powerful - AT YOUR EXPENSE.

Good job of the Supreme Court of the USA.

So basically if they forgive student debt, then when these folks have kids those kids get to pay for their parents debt and their own. Good luck explaining that to your children. Nobody seems to want to fix the problem so dang those future children don’t have much of a future.

The way we lower student loan debt is by just deciding to not go to college as the student loans being too high make it not worth doing.

Of course that "new approach" doesn't include doing it constitutionally by having congress do their job and pass legislation. The Supreme Court stated that it has to come from congress to be constitutional. Pelosi said it last year that only congress can "forgive" student loans.

In my country, they do not give you any loan. You have to find a way to get the money and pay it. I think American are giving too much free stuff

What about all of us older folks that had to struggle for years to pay it back. Buck up younguns, and take responsibility for the loans you took out. If you do this, you've got to go back and reimburse everyone who paid for years. No free rides now.

And this is why our country's founders gave Congress the "power of the purse."

@ what point will the integrity of the "Supreme Court" be called into question and a vote of NO CONFIDENCE be levied to dissolve the court in favor of one that is voted on by the people.

If people with a higher education can’t afford to pay their debts then maybe a higher education is not paying off. Maybe have the schools charge higher ticket prices for their sports programs. Try cutting costs.
