Alice In Chains Dam That River Drum Cover Trey B

It's 2fer Saturday (I see why 2fer Tuesday is more popular marketing). This 'en is just a good old fashioned "BASH THE SHIT" out of the kit tune. Another entry from one of my favs Sean Kinney and the classic 90s era ALICE IN CHANINS #AIC #Drumcover with #laynestaley from #TreyB (me). Dam that River is just pure rock and roll & attitude to the core. This tune is a great example of where your licks have to match the attitude because both gotta be on display to make this work. I didn't add or subtract. I just hit the kit and tried to remain true to the spirit of the song. Wicked! The band opened with this song when I saw 'em in 1993; there was a big white curtain surrounding the stage area with enough light to see the group in silhouette & they were playing something atmospheric, then, BOOM! Into "Dam That River" & the curtains dropped. Great show overall, with Mike Inez as the new guy and Jimmy DeGrasso filling in for Sean Kinney.
