Listen, my guy, Branded only won because it abused a degenerate floodgate. Nobody is out here saying that the Branded deck itself is a problem, we ar saying that Bra(i)nde(a)d is a problem. Which is to say like 95% of the bra(i)nde(a)d playerbase spamming the same floodgate while stalling for 3 minutes resolving 1 Bra(i)nde(a)d Fusion or making outrageous illegal plays live on camera where even judges and commentators fail to see it.
Bra(i)nde(a)d is a serious mental problem for the game, okay. :( It has affected floodgate players since the dawn of time and we need to cure the Branded decks of this disease. :(
Take away the degenerate floodgating so these players don't have to discard their precious few braincells and can resolve Branded Fusion in a timely fashion.

Just because Snake Eye exists doesn't mean that there are no other problems in the game. Get real.

I don’t see the difference between the puppet lock and a combo deck setting up an unbeatable board. Branded gets hand trapped once and can’t lock, the lock isn’t a 1-card combo, and it requires a lot of setup to be worth it.
