The COMPLETE Story of the 'Stand Up General Lee' Wheelstander! (Full Dukes of Hazzard Documentary)

The Stand Up General Lee is a '69 Charger built by Rich Sephton. He was a mechanic on The Dukes of Hazzard TV Show, and Rich built this car outside of work (on his own dime) for the The Dukes of Hazzard's Final Episode. Unfortunately, the Wheelstander General Lee never made it into the show... and caused 30 years of chaos for Rich Sephton. Many different versions of the story have been told in recent years, but they all leave out several parts of the story. This Full-Length Dukes of Hazzard Documentary covers The COMPLETE STORY of the Rich Sephton's 'Stand Up General Lee' Wheelstander.

I remember seeing all the Chargers at that shop on San Fernando Rd. I worked for Big Bob Lambeck for a few years at his shop in Northridge.

I was born on the day The Dukes first aired. I've loved this show my whole life. This story is awesome. I live in Wichita ks a guy that lives here got a couple of his generals in the movie. The one with Daisy washing the car, and the one that got launched over the highway. Hearing this story about the Stand-up General let's us all know that this General is the real unicorn of all the General Lee's, with decklid door hood and quarter panel from other General Lee's not just any 69 charger parts. This car should be in a museum and posed in a wheelie, or posed in a wheelie and mounted high on a pole for the sign to a Dukes of Hazard museum. Unicorn of all Unicorns and I'm not even a Mopar guy at all.

I just subscribed today cause I am a HUGE fan of Dukes. I even have the show's opening credit jump, tattooed on my upper thigh (minus the lettering). This is only my second video of yours, and you just blew my mind off. I have 3 collections, in order; Dukes of Hazzard, "Titanic" & some Star Trek (NG & Voyager).
What are the chance of that??!! Dukes AND Titanic?? Perhaps you are my long lost child... 😳😱😁

Great job on this video and documentary of the stand-up General loved all the enthusiasm you put into this videos. I met Rich a couple times at Dukefest events early on 2001 2002 and had the privilege of hanging out with him and Al Wyatt jr at a hotel in Va hearing a lot of stories of shenanigans behind the scene on 2nd unit I also had the honor of him to autograph the deck lid of my General Lee. RIP to all the greats that were involved with show and thanks for the friendships you all created.

Wow, that is a long & crazy story that I never knew anything about! My heart goes out to Richard Sefton, having his car stolen from him twice in one lifetime! Shame on his ex for doing that to him! In my opinion, having his car stolen a second time had much to do with a stress filled life & an early trip to heaven! What a story! You did a wonderful job in this video, making it a documentary of the Stand-up General Lee! I will be checking out your store for sure! Thank you for sharing this very detailed story, I loved all the details! I am very leary of people, hearing stories like this, is why trust should be earned & not freely given! I can't image what it does to a sole when deeply betrayed by vandictive & undeserving ex-wives!
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!!
I worked my life away in a career & never took from someone else! I am proud of that & know I can lay my head down to rest with a clear conscience.
