For someone who plays mainly single player, the weekly challenges are really a breath of fresh air. Fun, varied, and perfect for an hour or so of gameplay. I'd love to see it get added to in the future.

To use your own cars in Split Screen mode you have to favourite them

To use your cars, from the garage you have to 'favorite' them in the garage and they will be made available in split screen mode

Pretty accurate depiction of the Lake Louise / Banff area. Also, pretty accurate depiction of a blue-bird sunny day in the middle of winter with light reflecting off the snow. You'd definitely have sunglasses on.

Hoping that with the next Sophy update, it'll be possible to set Sophy's difficulty to something akin to what it was in that first prototype. Doesn't matter how quick you are, there's nothing quite as challenging as staying consistent while Sophy is absolutely glued to your rear bumper with progressive tire wear.

I can’t wait until Sophy can do races of any length. It’s a fantastic addition, but being limited to 2/3 lap races is a huge bummer

So, something to note on split screen car choices: They provide a variety of cars by default - but you can add more cars by "favoriting" your cars from your garage. When favorited, they can be selected, with their liveries and upgrades and all.

The new championship overview is what I missed until now. The feeling of completing real championships on different tracks and not just visiting a track and completing every race there. I will definitely get into the game again.

This is a good solid update, particularly like the Sophy additions but wish it could be on longer races. What I was really hoping for above anything else was an update to the BONKERS penalty system for on-line races. We didn't get that, and I think it's long overdue. I gave up racing on line because of the shameless ramming and punting - was hoping they would at least try to fix it, but to no avail. Maybe that'll be a GT8 thing? I can always hope.

I've been enjoying the new Master License tests. It wasn't uncommon to Gold a lot of the regular License tests first try, but now it feels like the majority of them do take quite a few attempts and some whittling down the tenths and hundredths to get the Gold, as License tests in Gran Turismo SHOULD be.

EDIT: Played Gran Turismo all day today from about 1PM till about midnight since I have a few days off work lol. First time I've had a long session of the game in ages. Did the first weekly challenge, one of the new menus, and spent 8 hours getting Gold on the Master B, A, International B and International A licenses. Definitely feels nostalgic for the PS2 days. Plan on doing the Super license tomorrow, I imagine it'll take a full day since a lot of my least favourite tracks to drive are on there. GT is back

If you favorite your personal cars you can use them in split screen an in quick races!! So you can use all cars, just favorite them all!! Hope this helps

You can put any car you have to split screen races, but you first need to make them favourite in garage.
