I figured out how to make it work on PC. Match the bottom symbols to top ones then you need to leave the game OPEN, manually adjust time back one hour (make sure the hour isn’t about to roll into a new one, like 4:59 or something) then just click to open and should open.

This doesn't seem to work anymore. *EDIT* The method shown in this video for PS5 didn't seem to work because logging out of the game forced it to change to a new code. I messed around with multiple different options. Some people had a whole guide on how to crack this code but nothing worked. But I found what did work for PS5.

- Match the bottom symbols with the top symbols
- Go into the time settings of your PS5 ( DO NOT LOG OUT OF REMNANT OR SHUT OFF YOUR GAME )
- Disable automatic adjustment in your time settings
- Go to manual input and set the clock back 1 hour
- Go back to your game and and now you can open the door.

Still works. A bit cumbersome, but works.

Make sure when you roll the clock back your paying attention to AM & PM Hours.

Example:
First time I did it during the game, I was playing at 12am, but when I rolled the clock back, I rolled it back to 11am, instead of 11pm.

Another trick was to use a dragon heart before setting the code. I didn't attempt to Unlock it, I just exited the puzzle. Then set my clock 1 hour back. Then used a dragon heart again and then went into the puzzle and unlocked the door. Not sure why this worked, maybe it triggers a save or something in the game, but it did. Good luck.

Just fyi you don't need to leave your game for this to work. You just need to roll back your system clock by 1 hour and it'll let you unlock the door immediately.

I also had to set the time 2 hours back after the patch. (PC) hope this helps some of you.

On ps5 does not work when changing time zones. Manually change time to 1 hr earlier.

i believe many of you changing the code when you comming back, it has to be same as you entered the first time. I changed second time code and neither of time changes worked :D came back and just left same coide, -1h and it opened

This does not seem to work anymore, I even read it got patched so i tried the 2 hour back method... nothing. looked around everywhere to see if there is any workaround and tried setting my pc 11 hours back just to see, nothing is working and im unfortunately never gonna have the opportunity to hit this exactly 23 hours later the intended way, honestly loved all the secrets and puzzles this game had to offer but this one is not it.

they patched out the turn time back on PC, no longer works EDIT, it still works, just had to set my clock to 2hrs back instead of 1hr

I’ve been waiting the 23 hours and it still says the code is wrong and I’m on Xbox so it’s going to be a pain to do the cheese way

Thanks for telling me for the legit way to leave the bottom codes like that till 23 hours later, no one else says to leave them matched till then so i moved them/had them not matching and it wasn’t working for me

For me it just opened the door without any other bs. Just put the same symbols on the thing and the door opened lol
