The issue with Weaver is that his star ability, pull, might as well become unbound after Diamond because Masters and up are already in positions that they’ll never really need to be yanked from.

I’ve put 30 hours into Weaver so far and pulling my friends when they’re in danger is so gratifying. But as time goes on I see them using it as a way to learn, and they don’t need pulls as much anymore.

It’s an ability that’s only good when playing with people who make positioning mistakes. Which, fortunately, is still a large portion of the playerbase. I don’t think pull is a bad or unbalanced ability at all, but it’s use is such a Schrödinger’s Cat situation that it might as well be made into something else.

That's why I always thought tree should be a hologram shield like ability, like Bap's window it can only be destroyed by emp. Allies can shoot and walk through it but enemies can not until they have done 600 damage to it, in which it doesn't get removed but enemies can shoot and walk through it.

the number of times an enemy lifeweaver has saved me from their teammates by dropping a tree just as i needed cover is actually quite a lot 😂
