and preferred to work with battle hard rebellion vets who more likely to not look twice at horrific actions in the name of the rebellion's

Interesting history. He seems to be a strong proponent for autonomy! Seems like he doesn’t like larger powers no matter who it was! We could say he would have probably supported the populist faction of the New Republic if he survived!
