The most insane part is we got orbital lasers and railguns, flying ships etc. but don't have a speed loader for a fucking revolver

i realized that i made myself a solo operative by accident, i got the light armor with long throw and maxed out the hanger. whenever i play with my group, ill find myself soloing objectives all around the map as i search for the uranium while they do main objective.

I know the senator isn’t the most optimal but man is it satisfying to use. Unloading into a stalker as it runs towards you and bringing it down or headshotting bots and bringing them down are just so cool feeling

First vid I've seen give the 110s the respect they deserve. Especially against bots they are a perfect way to take out tanks or bot fabs from a safe distance.

interesting, i've been having similar thoughts about the rocket pods recently. People get caught up on them being less consistent or powerful than other options, but don't talk about how many of them you can spam out in one mission. Eagle strategems are just crazy by design

A somewhat off-meta build that i like to run thats pretty reliable is the the gas strike, ems strike, autocannon, and rocket pods. If you dont have pids you can use the orbital precision. And if you dont have the auto cannon any missile launcher works well, and even the penetrating sniper works well if you can hit those weak points.
The gas strike and ems have extremely low CDs, the ems will set you up for your big call ins and the gas shreds through weak enemies and softens up larger ones. These both having super short CDs will let you use them every fight, sometimes even multiple times. Ems + gas and some impact got me 42 chain kills once ill never forget.
For your primary gear its whatever you like. Impact is always my go to, the auto cannon can even blow up fabricators if you bounce it off the vent.
Your weapons you can run whatever, breaker is obviously great. I like the dual SMGs as sometimes i run the riot shield for memes. But dont actually run the riot shield its ass

Gotta love the arc thrower gives some mob clear and can blast off armour and kill biggies. Eagle mini nuke is a must with the ship upgrades you get 2 and 2 min refresh and it kill everything if you hit it so takes some skill to use but if you can get it easy GG

Fun Fact: Destroy fabricators by tossing that impact grenade in the door when it opens! Tricky shot most times but does work!

I wish some stuff like precision strike had any use, but Eagle just trumps everything with it's multiple charges, area and versatility. It makes it really diffucult to fill slots with more wacky options, when you still want to have tools to be useful.

The absolute pain when that pole blocked your shot. Very helpful though, been wondering which loadout to rock solo since the servers can be a bit iffy.

ive only been playing for a little over a week and have all the stategems unlocked and working through the pages and have always brought the penetrator, g18, impact grenade paired with railgun, supply pack (cuz i shoot alot lol), cluster bomb and railgun strike but now im thinking to switch to airstrike and orbital laser (for me i hate when i have 2 eagles due to having to keep track of each for resupply) so thanks for your in depth breakdown on all the different things and explaining about them...cheers!

Senator is great for preserving ammo with every shot dishing out decent damage, if only there was a speedloader or boost or something that could increase that reload time. I personally use it over the mini uzi when going up against automatons to spice things up at lower difficulties.

Great build, just wanted to plug for the autocannon a bit. I noticed it has infinite range and explosive damage, so you can snipe radio towers/spore spewers from across the map, and with a little careful aiming it can take out bug holes and fabricators as well. If it had medium armor pen it'd be the perfect weapon imo.

I would say at levels 7-9, the shield backpack is awesome and great for both enemies. The railgun is a must have on bots and great against bugs. Don’t sleep on the arc thrower vs bugs thou, one person in the squad with it can handle so many ads that swarm together… it’s only downside is vs the titan and multiple chargers. That, and sometimes a teammate can get zapped if they run into enemies you are blasting. That’s on them thou. But, one person with it makes things so nice. The air strike and the cluster bombs are both great choices, depending sometimes on the mission. The orbital laser I almost always run and I think it’s superior to the orbital rail as it can also deal with multiple large enemies if you are in a pinch and great having one on extractions.
For guns, the breaker incendiary is fine against bugs only. The breaker is good against both. The scorcher is great against both, but like you said, be careful to not kill yourself against jumpers. This isn’t much of a problem if you are the one on the team running the arc thrower. There, you have to use the secondary smg to deal with that pest. The JAR is actually good and effective.

Primary and secondary weapon mods would be great additional content for this game. Extended mags for those without, speed loade for the revolver, muzzle breaks for the high recoil weapons, different sight options etc.
