Did you just buy a SumUp Solo card reader and want to get started? Here is how to set up your SumUp Solo card reader in a few simple steps.
Next, connect your Solo card reader to your Wi-Fi network from the list of networks. Please note that the Solo can only connect to secure (password protected) networks. Once your Solo is connected, it will ask you to perform updates. Especially when using the device for the first time, this may take a couple of minutes. Just sit back and relax.
That’s it. Your SumUp is ready to accept card payments straight away. Besides the Wi-Fi connection, it also has an in-built mobile SIM card with unlimited data. This means that you can use the Solo anywhere you need it.
