Maybe it is just me but does anyone else feel this way?!

It's like you get used to how it knows or feels and then you kinda get sick of it. Happens to me and my clothes all the time.😂

this is a real thing!!! your body/skin gets used to it, that’s why it’s good to switch up your products every now and then 😊😊

Yes!! That happens to me all the time especially with skincare, like it works for a while then eventually it stops, like what is going on

YES!!! I LITERALLY happened to me this morning. I was putting on my mascara for school and it wasn’t feeling like how it normally does.

It’s either a psychological thing where you get used to it and you eventually want to change things up OR it could be a change in diet that’s impacting the way your hair or skin is reacting to a product. Like during the summer I eat a lot of fish so I find my skin and hair is GLOWING naturally and I don’t need heavy duty products, but in the winter I eat a lot of carbs (holidays baby 😂) and I tend to need more products that help with dry skin (which is also due to drier weather).

For the shampoo one, I’m pretty sure over time the shampoo gets a bit of build up on your scalp so when u switch shampoos it removes that build up. (Which is why hotel shampoos work well) idk if this is true but it’s what I’ve been told

It definitely happens with hair products and skincare for me. With makeup though, it only happens with foundations/concealers. I've been using the same mascara for 15 years now.

Yes! 💕I sooo know what you mean on the shampoo! I actually asked my hairdresser about that one and why that is. She said it is just build up on the hair… even if it’s a high quality shampoo it will build up. To get rid of it, every once in a blue moon use your conditioner as the shampoo and it cleanses your hair to its natural texture. After doing that my hair feels like itself again. IDK if I’m the only one, but this hack has saved me from changing shampoos. (Especially if you really like the shampoo you’re using!)

Totally agree with you, I do think when we switch things up it hits different, maybe not everything but definitely when I switch up hair products, face products you are so right it’s hittin different. Plus I get bored 🥱 so switching is fun, you never know what else could work better!!!! All for Change darlingggg!!!! 🩷

Yes, but it worse when the new thing you get is more expensive. Or like you got the new thing and it’s better but it was less expensive than the thing you were using. Either way, money will or have gotten wasted😢❤

With hair care it’s usually my environment. With differences in temp and humidity my hair has different needs so I typically have to change them with the seasons.
