Just bought a 2013 Kymco 200 i for $1200 USD with 3600 miles and will be delivered 6/26/2020 and really will have a lot of fun. And I am 76. Nothing like starting a new adventure, keeps you young.

I have one of the same color since 2020. I can't get over how menacingly beautiful it is. There are absolutely no unpretty angles to look at it. I just changed the sidemirror and installed a forward sidemirror kit so I don't have to turn my head to look at the sidemirror.

Also forgot to mention a unique characteristic this scooter has, a lean angle of 43 degrees. Thats more than some motorcycles. I regularily do trips of 200 miles plus. If more bikers tried these scooters out i reckon they would want one. My son slagged me for having this untill i allowed him to borrow it to commute to work. I had problems getting it back.

Nice review thanks. I get the impression you like it! :) What are the service intervals? I rode a Forza 350 the other day and it has 8k service intervals. My Burgman has 3.5k and I think the AK550 has 3k! It makes a huge difference to running costs.

Thanks for the video, this scooter was not available but did purchase the AK550, Kymco is a serious and fun scooter brand

I encourage to try a 400cc maxiscooter. Went from Transalp and Africa Twin to Xmax-400 "midi" -maxiscooter. Much better weatherprotection, more comfort ride and underseat storage. And best of all, avoid traffic and parking problems in all cities. Thats why they are hugh popular in and around Paris. Only when heavy rain and in icy conditions; they are less adviced. But always rise defensive and wear plenty of visible fluo clothes. Ride safe.

Hi do you mind me asking what your inside leg dimensions are, thanks for the informative reviews. Best wishes.

Nice skim test, but U fail to mention little things like suspension travel, is it key or keyless start, are brake levers adjustable, which is rare on scooters, how do U adjust windscreen and show low and high positions, it would have been nice to know actual fuel consumption or average at least, but these are just my niggles, looks to be a nice scooter

Thanks for the video. Does it have speed control

Looks like an alternative to the Yamaha's pricewise but does it keep the wind and rain off your legs (for those of us who where suits to work)? Will it survive a few winters? Is the screen adjustable and does it have heated seats and seats?

Hi bikematters, when your doing your reviews could you get a bloke over 6 foot to sit on the bike just so us taller folk can see if we could fit on this scooter, otherwise mate good review looking to buy one in the near future don't know if I'll get this scooter or the downtown 350.
Thanks
Heath.

Thank you for this nice review. I love the looks and all the features of this scooter. The only thing that turns me off is the fact that the space under the seat is rather limited. I like scooters because they are practical. Honda is coming up with the Forza 350 and I feel that even if it will not be as strong as the xciting 400 it is a better option for me as I can store under the seat more things or even two helmets. My wife and I like to go for walks after a ride and it’s important to securely drop the helmets.
The bmw 400 is also a scooter I am considering.
Looking forward to a review of the forza 350 as well as your opinion comparing the BMW, the Kymco and the Honda or even the Xmax
