The Ultimate Trick To Giving Your Dog Meds

My soft and fluffy Bear has been a little under the weather recently, so I thought I'd show you how to give medicine to a sick dog. Lots of people will take the medicine and bury it in a snack or hide in in peanut butter, but these capsules can't be broken and Bear needs to make sure not to chew them, so here's my technique. #Shorts

It’s super easy for my dog because whenever she hears something hit the ground she thinks it’s a treat so we just drop her medicine and she just eats it up. It’s really funny honestly.

My dog just eats anything we hold out to her so giving her pills is a non issue. She isn't the brightest cookie though.

I’m a vet tech and honestly this is basically exactly what we suggest lol. Bonus points that the treats are healthier. Even better, if your dog is more wary, give the treat first and slip the pill in random order between the treats, give the following treat immediately after the pill and they’ll “accidentally” swallow the pill to get and swallow the next treat before you move away.
