You can see her looking around for someone to help her. The way she keep looking left to right and up, she is trying to find someone. What a smart, lovely Gorilla. More class than some humans.

Unfortunately, things went different when another gorilla tried to save a boy.

Currently employed at this zoo as security. I close this exhibit often when the park closes and I get to be in there with the gorillas by myself for a bit. When no one is in there and I get to just look at the gorillas it is so quiet and calm. I love it.

Not because she was raised by humans.... It's because she is purely loving

I was born in 1995. My mom used to create bedtime stories for me from what she heard on TV and this was one of them. She tells me that this was my favorite story and that almost every night I would ask her to tell me this one. Crazy to see the actual new report about it!

The boy in that fall suffered a broken hand and cuts to his face.  He spent four days in the hospital and recovered fully.

Gorillas have always seemed like fascinating, intelligent, gentle creatures. Of course incredibly powerful and dangerous if feeling threatened.
Chimpanzees, on the other hand, terrify me. Monsters.
