My god. The pacing of the commercial music is fantastic. I love how it repeats the same phrase while Dad’s entering the file number.

If you listen closely, the child actually says " Dad, can YOU hear Camptown Races now ? ", instead of " Can WE ". As the story goes, making such a huge blunder on a national TV commercial sent him into a terrible depression, and he stopped acting altogether and later became a travel agent. Or he was executed for his mistake. There is evidence supporting both versions of the story.
