Hi Darren, I love the speech, I want to tell you that I was almost closing the video but when you fell down you kept my entire attention... you did something different... unique... that was a piece of art, that was what changed my action... This speech is fantastic. I come back occasionally to study and get inspiration from LaCroix.
Then I stumbled on these words today while reading a book on how to be funny:
"....pitching forward on your face is not a bad thing, but a good thing. At least in falling forward, you're moving forward, and moving forward is all that really matters."

Even if LaCroix didn't read or get inspiration from this book, I take this speech and his other videos as proof that hard work goes a long way. Even someone that confesses they don't have a history of being funny can make people genuinely laugh.
