Nick Wright is such a homer. Says he's objective, but he's far from it. I can't stand the fact that he's on TV because he simply hates on Jordan and makes love to LeBron. This era is much easier to score in - fact! You can't touch in this era. The old era was beat up drag you down and he still scored 30+ points per! Nick Wright's argument that Jordan scored 30+ in his area and would need to score 10 more points, and wouldn't be able to now is ridiculous. IF THEY CAN"T TOUCH YOU AND YOU CAN JUST SHOOT - There's 3 Field goals and 4 FT's. Not that hard to equate. Nick needs to be let go. He brings nothing to any show except his love with Lebron.

Bird, Magic and Kareem have better cases than LeBron. Nick is a crazy person. Don't get me started on Duncan and Shaq.

Kareem did lose in High School but let's not let fact get in the way of narrative.

MJ averaged 37ppg shooting 2pts per MJ in todays league would involve him shooting more 3pt shots while still having the same ferocity he has going to the rim = MJ avg 45ppg.

Nick Wright, the biggest Lebron James Homer.

He need to re-educate himself that the rules changed in 2005 and they were made on purpose (even stated on the official NBA site and rules) to promote more perimeter plays instead of impeding them like the oldschool rules that MJ had to deal with. Post these rule changes they saw a significant scoring increase by the perimeter players, I believe it was 26% or something which is a Huge jump.

Someone like Harden has gotten like 7 seasons of 10+ FTA attempts and his driving capability would be laughable compared to prime MJ (who only had 3 years of around 10 FTA, just let that sink in for some folks here...Harden has had more FTA attempts than the GOAT).

All we need to do is this, and this is Low Balling MJ in todays league.

If we just add 2 more points per quarter for MJs ppg average to accommodate for the modern era, and also two more FTAs and you'll see that MJ's numbers would already easily fall into the 45 ppg range already from his amazing 30ppg average for his career, and this is LOW BALLING MJ.

If we constituted this samething for MJ but during his absolute best ppg seasons and he would be in the 50+ ppg range! Once again, low balling with only given him 2 more points per quarter and just two more FTA attempts.

So this would mean that "average ppg" MJ would be in the 45ppg easily, while his absolute Best and highest ppg seasons would put him in the 50 ppg average or slightly better.

Prime Michael Jordan would embarrass the NBA league today, but someone like Nick Wright, is a complete joke.

Get Nick Wright out of here, if he's watching the documentary and can't even see the physicality and the difficulty MJ had to deal with while also producing dumb video game numbers within an era where the rules did not cater to the guards, he, just like Shannon Sharpe are homers, pure and simple.

Watch Nick Wright in the next 10 years when their is a Lebron James documentary, he and Shannon will be nut hugging like you wouldn't believe.

Nick can say some nonsense sometimes but he is dead right. The older generation is throwing stones to the new generation whenever they get the chance
