super models are usually meant to show off clothes whereas the "social influencers" are personalities that are more known for their character and not their modeling ability. If a company hires a celebrity to model, it isn't because they're going to model like a supermodel, but to use the fame that comes with being a celebrity; basically, their personality. big difference in what they're trying to achieve
