Lilavati is famous treatise on mathematics written by the renowned Indian mathematician and astronomer Bhaskara II in 1150 CE. It was a text that was translated into maximum number of Indian and foreign languages due to its lucid style of writing and the collection of problems it contained. It is the first volume of his main work, the Siddhanta Siromani, alongside the Bijaganita, the Grahaganita and the Goladhyaya.
