Rick was smart in not paying too much for that bell. After all, he's going to have to frame it, and then it will take years before he can sell it.

Always with the 1-2 on these guys.
Old man low-balls to set the tone. One of the boys comes in to the rescue of the seller like a hero, bumps it to half of it's value and leaves the seller believing they won when they actually lost lol

when the old man said 3k I almost passed out

3k was 1/5th the value estimate… one of the lowest offers I ever heard.

It's too bad she didn't have the room for it. My uncle had an artifact with a similar backstory that was evaluated at $13, 000. A pawn shop offered $8000 max. He kept it and later submitted it to a specialty auction and got $16, 500 and this is after auction fees. If you find the right collector, you can get your rightful value and some.

They hit a home run with that. They made a fortune when they auctioned it.

I use to think Rick exaggerated when he says they fake everything all the way down to toothpaste he said in this episode. Well I seen someone actually makes knockoff hot wheels toy cars. The hotwheels are a freakin dollar why would anyone fake that ??!!??
