I have had bad experiences with AirBNB. With a hotel, I can get a different room if there is a problem.

The original AirBnB model was awesome! Stay in place that feels like you live there…. It then became just another hotel booking site with high fees and charges to both the host & the guest. The original concept of living like a native gave way to profit… actually the result in my part of the world is older guests who expect full concierge service with everything🤪😕😏

I actually thought it was all hipe and never liked the model. To truth the truth I always thought it was kind of creepy to be in another persons home...eat, sleep etc.
I always enjoyed and never had problems with hotels and motels.
