Battery test between the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to see which phone offers better battery life.

TEST NOTES:
- Both phones were new with 100% battery health.
- Screens were calibrated to 200 nits with auto-brightness turned off.
- Speakers calibrated to the nearest decibel count.
- Tested within equal distance of a mini cell tower.
- Tested in a temperature-controlled environment.
- In the YouTube test, "Ambient Mode" was accidentally left on for the iPhone. This likely created a slight disadvantage for the iPhone (we estimate a less than 1% difference).

You forgot turning off Ambient Mode in YouTube on the iPhone. Maybe thats why the iPhone lost 1 Percent more on YT.
Nevertheless really great Video as always 👍.
This is the Most scientific Battery Test on YouTube and in 9/10 battery Tests i watched the iPhone won by a a good bit.

I’ve been a Samsung guy for a long time but I wanted something new this time. I got an IPhone 16 pro and the battery seems to last longer than the 5000ah battery in Samsung phones. Great little phone. I didn’t want the max. It reminds me of the early iPhones, in looks.

As other people stated the iPhone screen is 6.9 this year, and ambient mode on YouTube is on for only one device, which can definitely make a difference. Also using iOS 18.0.1 could have been nicer if it’s not what you used (not sure it’s that better for battery life though, but could make a difference as overall performance improved).
Next time iPhone 16 vs 16 Pro ? Or 15 Pro vs 16 Pro to see the real generational difference ?
