In view of the lethal anti tank environment of the modern battlefield, the era of combined arms maneuver operations is over. From assault role, the tank can now, at best, be used in a support role.

The Soviets studied turretless hovercraft tank in WWII.

They could put men in big glide bombs that hatch open, so the fellows tumble out at the right time, with those sky dive glider possum suits with the little parachute at the end.
The innovations of the modern wars need to upgrade armoured vehicles to the drones threats. Maybe quantity over quality like guys with star wars armour ‘storm trooper’ with Ned Kelley coverage on little armoured motorbikes.
Or guys inside large rolling balls of steel. It’s just a big ball that rolls forward fast.

Wish they'd make something similar to the Colonial Marine apc from Aliens

The world powers need to adapt new methodologies.
One of my sci fi machines is the ball tank its a big ball of thick steel with studded surface for traction, it’s driven over short distances as a high impact resistant armoured vehicle to penetrate defence belts to deliver shock troops.
It uses electric propulsion traction with enormous torque capacity high power for short duration and good speed.
Inside the ball is half ball platform made of lithium battery magnetic levitation drive, ai driverless programmed route & joystick override and a tv screen the outside flying drone video feeds its status & it’s comfortable, has air conditioning and seat belt harnesses.
It just opens enough like a faberge egg or full open
Some of the balls are decoys that ram and are filled with explosive that detonate fortress sections followed by more balls of men.
The ball tank can withstand enormous impact force by sheer mass to deliver men and equipment and then return to base, rolling all around the battlegrounds in non linear chaotic motions.

A proto typical of a Jagpanther of German ww2 assault gun

This is good up until they start lying. Ukraine has yet to target successfully any of these tanks. Why the guy didn't show any video because no video exists. it's just a bunch of lies. Thumbs down
