For people who are curious about the demon core incident

Some dumbass scientists were testing on it and then if you don't know nucelar fission happens when you split an atom, When that atom is split it releases energy, When they put the metal cap inside that thing it isolated all the atoms there and the atoms was also starting to bounce around extremely fast, It got so fast a blue light started to shine from it which basically happens when radiation goes faster than the speed of light, So because of all of that it turned supercritical and all those atoms starting to split and bounce around making more energy and more energy and more energy until eventually it causes a massive explosion
