I only have approx.15% "DrugStore" makeup in my collection. Many parent companies of the higher end/ luxury brands use the same or similar formulas in their more affordable lines. There's approx. 8 major cosmetic conglomerates that produce the bulk of major brands we see. I find that beautiful and luxurious packaging adds to the experience for me, but I know that's inconsiquential to others. "Drugstore" has come a long way since I started wearing makeup in the 70's, and paying more doesn't always guarantee a better result. However, where it's manufactured, the ingredients, and the packaging all play a role for me, and determine what "affordable" makeup is worth it for me. Your look was beautiful as always. My favorite UD single is Scorpio. Love me my smokey eye and nude lip.

I also have been loving the new matte formulas! I'm definitely feeling the matte and higher coverage look too these days. It's nice to have a change from all the glow and be able to get beautiful base formulas that I can use even with my dry skin

Omg your foundation looked absolutely flawless and beautiful…. 💕I too do not gravitate to matte foundations they usually look heavy and dry. But this YSL foundation looks like silk on your skin…. Love the look you created! I’m a big fan of the TF foundation too. Need to try his liquid liner & glosses. I had the same issue with the Makeup by Mario lippie and I returned it because it was too soft and “clumpy”. Adore his lip liner though, and his pencil eye liner is one of my favs.
