I honestly dont like the new camera button either. But the good news is you can disable it in the settings. No more accidental camera unlocking

I hate the camera button too! Also hate how most the cases have a huge cut out for it, it makes it feel so awkward to hold the phone

I mean mine is still running as good as day one and the battery seems to be lasting about the same, despite being 94% capacity after some 250 cycles. The camera is very good, the display is big and bright and 5G performance and reception never let me down! I tested both the 16 pro and the 16 and I had cellular issues with both, while I disabled the camera button from day one, absolutely horrible experience with it.
The 16 might be a touch faster when installing app updates or software updates and when opening up a game, but for daily tasks, like spotify, instagram, telegram and tiktok for example almost no difference.
The 15 plus in still an excellent choice.
