This was a cool, very in-depth video. I'm from the neighbouring state of Jalisco and I lived for five years in Guanajuato, studying in the iconic Universidad de Guanajuato. It's not very known for this, but Guanajuato has a very vibrant student life!

Great video! I think Guanajuato’s identity and culture has been deepened by a richness steeped in music. Also, it has wonderful museums.

The term “Western Culture” might be used with caution as its definition is unclear and debated.

In terms of aesthetics, I would say Zacatecas is a bit more pleasing. But Guanajuato is nice

Guanajuato is pretty .. the Theater is as grand a building as any in Paris .. But "San Miguel de Allende " The city next door, is MUCH prettier by far and less hilly ....

This was great. His statement about US architecture was totally off. We have extremely old ornate buildings all over the US. New Orleans, Mobile, San Francisco, NY, St Louis. Actually every state. He needs to look up " My Lunch Break" and learn this. They are in every city. But Guanajuato is much prettier, I will say that.
